ExperienceTutored in UMKC Math Center for four months from Sep to Nov 2009.
Taught undergraduate courses in algebra, calculus and statistics as lecturer for three years from Jan 2010 to May 2012 in UMKC, and helped many of my students receive high score in the common final exam every semester.
I had one year working experience lately at a local financial service company as a statistics and database analyst. I can also tutor on basic skills in SAS and SQL.
Now I am a graduate research assistant, working with professors in UMKC on mathematical statistics research. My schedule becomes very flexible after I switched my emphasis from teaching to research. I would like to do some casual tutoring, since I still love teaching.
HobbiesI am a very outgoing person, living in Overland Park with my husband. I quit the job in that financial service company and returned to UMKC, because I found myself love teaching so much. I love communicating with students with different academic background and will be very happy to see the progress they make with my help. I also love music and used to be a pianist.
