Hobbies

My family is one of many fortunate families whose are blessed to be permanent American residents. My sister and I, on the other hand, are blessed to be American citizens since we worked very hard for it. Our family came to the United States in 1999 and we worked hard in the first couple of years to support our family here and our relatives back in Vietnam. Then acouple of more years passed by, the only thing I came to realize was hard work. So I thought that I could not see myself doing a job that I did not have any interest in for the rest of my life. Thus I began to explore the educational option and decided to go back to school. So I went back to school and got my GED, then my two years associate degree at Maple Wood Community College. After that, I transferred to University of Missouri- Kansas City for my Bachelor and subsequently my Master in Mathematics. During the past four years, I enjoyed the work as a tutor and as graduate teaching assistant at this institute. I've grown as an experience math instructor and a responsible adult for the first time in my life. Things could not have been better. Now I’m ready for the work force and hopefully I can find a career so that I contribute back to society and show my appreciation to this great nation. For this tutoring position, I worked to help students in mastering their math skill and reasoning. I really enjoyed working with students because I believe in hard work to improve our performance. I've tutored for one year and during this one year I've helped students in their College Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus and Calculus I. As a graduate teaching assistant, I have the privilege to teach Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra and Trigonometry. For the past two years, I've learned how to be a skillful instructor and how to follow the rules that are required of me. With all that being said about myself, please let me know if I can help you to be another successful student. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for your time reading my info.
