I have a passion for helping others move out of their comfort zones by learning to develop a new language and embarking on a study of a new culture of people. My teaching background branches from my studies abroad in Spain where I taught Spanish to adults and children. I really admire those who decide to learn Spanish because it illustrates how they are up for a challenge in life. I currently have multiple teaching licenses in Kansas and Missouri. I am also a native of Topeka, Kansas. My teaching degree also hails from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Over the years in this field, I have learned to develop a new love for our global society. I have also learned how to communicate with others in multiple languages, which helps me to be better self-aware. While teaching in many parts is my passion, I also have a business degree and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Central Baptist Theological Seminary.
