Experience
While growing up in the south, I went to Rockhurst University and received my Bachelor of Arts in French and Education, also with a minor in English Literature. I am also certified to teach French to classes K-12. I like to teach all ages, and when I was in college, I tutored students in writing and French. Right now I'm substitute teaching at a French school, and it was both challenging and fun to teach 2nd graders and 5th graders this past summer. Currently, I tutor in English, grammar, literature, writing, math, all levels of French, and also preparing for the many different tests students face like the ACT. I love teaching foreign language, and make it my goal to always help students and teach them the materials in fun and interesting ways. I believe in aiding the student to a certain extent because they need to be able to take what I teach them and then are off by themselves, having to apply the coursework in class or when taking tests. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I like to hang out with my roommates and our pets, watch movies, watch sports, and spend as much time as I can outside.
