I also had an internship one summer in the Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Therapeutics. I worked in a lab that primarily focused on understanding the regenerative abilities of the liver and the relationship of this process to liver cancer. This past school year I worked with a clinical research neurologist on a project investigating the role of the basal ganglia in primary focal dystonia.
