I went to Valparaiso University for my bachelor's degree in theology, and I'm now attending Rockhurst University for my MBA. I believe knowledge is a powerful tool, and the ability to overcome learning obstacles is a valuable skill. I believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit that continues well beyond the classroom. When I work with students, I encourage a collaborative approach with open communication and hands-on activities. These help students get engaged with the subject and builds the motivation they need to be successful. I can tutor subjects like geometry, elementary math, history, government and politics, reading, writing, English, literature, social studies, grammar, test preparation for the ACT, and others. When I have spare time, I like to eat good food, listen to music, travel, play the ukulele, and read.
