Experience

My tutoring experience includes helping students with algebra as a high school student and assisting students in reading and math through the Boys and Girls Club. Overall I have about six years of experience as a tutor. I love to help others learn, and I find it very gratifying when I help students work through topics they struggled with to come to a solid understanding. My goal as a tutor is to help students get to the point where they can solve problems independently and feel confident about their abilities so that they can go into exams feeling prepared. I tutor students in test preparation for the SAT and ACT, SAT subject tests, and others. I can also assist students in algebra, pre-algebra, and elementary school level math. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis.
