I've formerly tutored at : DuBois Learning Center. Another tutor and I developed a reading curriculum that was used in the remediation program. I tutored 4th-8th graders in reading comprehension, using appropriate grammar, enhancing critical-thinking skills. I absolutely LOVED my post! I tutored immigrants from Cambodia & Vietnam, in the past, at the Don Bosco Center. There, we used the Laubach system of instruction. I have tutored private students as well. I am presently a volunteer tutor with the non-profit organization, LITERACYKC. I love seeing students' eyes light up when they grasp a concept, and are able to feel successful in their learning journey, that's why I love being a tutor!
