I have a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and am a certified K-12 Spanish teacher. I took Spanish language classes throughout middle school and high school, and at the College of William and Mary I majored in Hispanic Studies and spent a semester abroad studying in Spain. I love the Spanish language, and am fascinated by both the history and the culture of Spain and Latin America.After earning my bachelor's degree, I taught and tutored middle school math students in Atlanta as part of Teach For America. Afterwards, I taught high school Spanish 1, 2, and 3 in St. Louis, tutored, and also served as the head of the Spanish department. I enjoy helping students reach their educational goals, and feel I have the necessary experience and drive to assist them while tutoring. Besides Spanish, I'm also an experienced teacher/tutor in English, grammar, essay writing, and essay editing. I'm also available for summer tutoring.At my home in Kansas City, Missouri, I enjoy writing, the theater, music, and anything pertaining to languages.
