Experience
Just moved to Kansas City from Chicago where I tutored in 2014 with Varsity Tutors. My teaching and tutoring experiences are wide-ranging, including reading and vocabulary with elementary students and biology lab experiments and research proposal writing for high school and college students. I like to ask questions that prompt critical thinking from the student. I enjoy using real-life analogies and examples to help students understand a new concept or relevancy of a subject. I always focus on maintaining a very positive, comfortable environment for the individual. I want to help students reach their full potential by supporting their own unique thoughts.
