My education and experiences have focused on my passion for foreign languages. I've been studying Spanish since 2005 and am proficient in French, so tutoring in these areas is something I am extremely good at. As I have dedicated my life to this area of study, I want to help others develop their skills and be just as successful. Spanish is a part of my daily routine. I am a Bilingual Home Visitor at the University of Missouri - Kansas City Medical Center.A bachelor's degree in Spanish and master's degree in Romance Languages and Literature helps. Culture is a love of mine and I have enjoyed learning about life in other parts of the world. I had the opportunity to study in Granada, Spain on two separate occasions while in college. A member of the Global Learning Exchange, I have worked with underprivileged and impoverished schools in Guatemala. I worked as a Training Specialist in 2013, training five native teachers while speaking their language, and showing them how to implement and use our reading program.Presently, I live in Overland Park, Kansas. When not hard at work educating myself or teaching others, I like to exercise, decorate, travel, and spend time with loved ones.
