I understand that learning new subjects can be difficult, and I like to ease the struggle. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new. It's a lifelong process we begin at birth. The instant that the light bulb flickers on in a student's head, is a moment that I really enjoy witnessing. I am happy to be a part of the learning experience for so many people. I have two years of tutoring experience in addition to my six years of experience as an after school care provider. I enjoy helping students with reading, elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, and geometry, as well as guidance with grammar and mechanics, study skills, and organization skills. My other interests include soccer, video games, dogs, cards, and laughter.
