I attended the University of Central Missouri to earn my bachelor's degree in actuarial science and math. I was able to tutor math as a college student, and I also tutored GED exam preparation for female inmates at a rehabilitation center. I work with students of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I understand how to customize my approach to match the needs of each one in a way that is engaging and fun. It's very rewarding to see students light up because they understand something, and I want every student I work with to get that feeling. I'm currently studying for a doctoral degree in Oriental medicine. When I have free time, I enjoy meeting with friends over coffee, writing, reading, and listen to music. I also knit and make jewelry.
